Yucatan Passages
A photographer's pilgrimage through southern Mexico.
For ten years Robert Hansen annually traveled the back roads of the Yucatán Peninsula searching out remote Mayan ruin sites, haciendas, and abandoned churches and generally immersing himself into the Mayan culture. This beautifully printed 12"×12" book contains photographs and journal entries made from these extensive travels. It also includes valuable maps and directional information for anyone wishing to visit these fascinating sites. Published by the Laguna Wilderness Press, Yucatán Passages is available in softcover, hardcover, and a special boxed limited edition with one fine art print. Wallace Neff: Architect Of California's Golden Age
The architect Wallace Neff built more than 500 homes for celebrities and dignitaries during the Golden Era of Hollywood from 1920 through 1972. Drawing from the imagery of the Spanish, Italian, French and English, he created luxurious homes for the stars. Robert Hansen has worked with Wallace Neff Jr. for over 30 years photographing the homes of Jack Lemmon, Dr. Jules Stein, Fred Niblo, The Gillette Home and many more classic Neff designs in Pasadena, Santa Barbara, Beverly Hills as well as The Doheny Library.
This book was commissioned by Wallace Neff Jr. in 2008 and includes letters from celebrities, historical documents and architectural comments from Alson Clark as well as reproductions from over 70 architectural renderings of Neff's original designs.
Mexican Color
In addition to Robert Hansen's iconic book Yucatán Passages, he has compiled many more images from his Mexican travels into an 8"×10" book, Mexican Color, available in softcover or hardcover form.

This unique 6"x6" book is the first title published in a larger collection of books of the same size to be collected as an ongoing archive of Robert's work.
Trolley
A visual journey of light and transformation.
Robert Hansen has photographed scenes at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, California, many times. A collection of his images has been published as Trolley, an 8"×10" book available in softcover or hardcover form. In its latest edition, May 2012, the book has been expanded to include more images and extensive historical information about each image and the trolley system itself.
Dreaming Backwards
"Dreaming Backwards" is a book about redemption and moving forward in life. Centered around the authors discovery of photography in his early twenties, the stage for the creation of the images in the book was an early 1800s farm house in Madison county, Iowa (where Clint Eastwood's movie the Bridges of Madison County was filmed)...
Ancestral Sanctuaries
Ancestral Sanctuaries is a first edition 8"x8" Hardcover book comprised of more than 100 pages of photographs, journal entries and poetry illustrating Robert Hansen's 45 year journey into the heart of the Anasazi world.
