The Anasazi were an ancient people who lived in what is now the southwestern United States. The spirit of these Native Americans continues to walk the land in these remote canyons. This spirit is more fully appreciated when we approach these ruin sites with reverence. Robert states, “My intent when photographing this type of scene is to simplify the inherent visual chaos and to bring out the most important design elements. I feel that simplicity in the design of the final composition will always stand the test of time.”
