In the late afternoon we visited the ruin site of Labna, a short distance down the road from Kabah. Labna is a magical place. Somehow I thought of the site in terms of eternity: grassy fields bordered by massive trees form avenues to the ruins. It was so silent that we could hear the tall grass blowing in the wind. Even the clouds seemed to stand still. We were the only humans in sight. Heaven might be like this!
